War Thunder is developed by Gaijin Entertainment, and was released on 21 December 2016.
It is a multi-player war game that’s based in WWII.
You play as a either a plane or a tank in a massive battle for research points to unlock new planes and tanks. Your tank/plane has a realistic damage resistance and when you destroy someone the game will play a kill-cam and show how your shot affected the target.
War Thunder is a “free-to-play” game and has in-game currency you can spend on upgrades for your Tank or Plane.
The game has missions where you can earn research points and “special” rewards. There are custom games where you can mess around with friends, and there is also a mode in which you can test your tanks before going into a real game.
