A rip off of Zone 3, a laser that shoots a climate change poster. There is a laser gun and a trigger that will fire off a “laser”. The laser gun will shoot and a target, if the target is hit a count of one will go up and the score will be displayed onto the machine. If the shooter misses a noise from the machine will go off, a laughing noise will be heard because the shooter is trash and can not hit the target. Also, the score of the miss counter will go up by one. The concept of the game is very easy concept to get your head around, pull a trigger of the laser, a laser will be shoot and if the target is hit. The counter will go up by one.
The code of the game
There were many start programs and no variables in the programming, there were no major issues with the programming only minor issues that were quickly fixed when started. The program changed every time a new idea was added to the game.
Brainstorming process
We started off not knowing the idea of the game or any idea what we wanted to do. It started off as a joke on why we built a laser type gun, we soon realised we could of made a game out of it. We then put a light sensor on it to imitate a laser pointer. At this stage we could not go back and make another game. We then got made to make a force feedback vibration device. Every time the trigger was activated the vibration would be activated. This was making the cords connecting to the game go all over the place and get messy. This needed to be cleaned up but we did not clean it up in the end. We then made targets that would move up and down if the target was shot. Noises were made if the laser missed the target or hit it.
Reflection
If we were meant to make this game again, we would change up the game and make targets go up and down randomly. We would make the game more complex and difficult.
