Isle of Ghosts is a short point-and-click adventure game, made for fans of the point-and-click mystery/adventure genre. It requires puzzles solving and an eye for out of place objects. It has an engaging story, easy to use controls, and rewards players who solve puzzles without hints.
Seven individuals were asked to play test the game. It was late into its development cycle and was almost complete. The consensus was that it was a fun and functional game, but some aspects of the controls were not explained properly, and the text given to the player could go by a bit fast at times. Both issues were solved, although play testers have not confirmed that these fixes are adequate.
I am very proud of my game as a whole, but there are aspects I am prouder of. The sprites, for example, are one aspect I spent much time on, and I love how they turned out. The fact I completed the game is something that I am very happy about as I was not expecting to do so at such a high quality. There are, however, some issues. The story, although a nice addition, feels a bit rushed; the pixilation of certain sprites does not match others, which is something I would deal with if I were remaking it.
