The Cup Fillerupera 9 is a niche product designed to cater to specific aspects of life that are more vital than might seem. The Cup Fillerupera 9 uses a ultrasonic sensor that detects the rim of the cup and the distance to the ground/bottom of the cup and then dispenses a liquid from the reservoir to a perfect point and makes sure it doesn’t spill because the ultrasonic sensor makes sure that the liquid height does not exceed the height of the rim. This means that it can also fill up cups of any size without needing manual input.
Evaluation and reflection
We are proud of the cool idea to use a moving ultrasonic sensor to get multiple measurements. using code to save them to variables to be used by the robot when filling up the cup/bottle.
When creating this robot there were many problems that we encountered the main problem being the time constraint that we were beckoned with. Another problem was the reservoir and the looming threat of spiller water. If we were to do this task again, we would decide on a definitive idea first, and then follow through with that idea all the way so that we won’t be confronted with a time constraint issue.
