Pixel Parkour is a 2D single player game that the player controls a tiny square to do jumps and navigate through levels to reach the end as the levels get harder each time and add new mechanics.
The intention of this game was to make the levels slightly harder each time to give the player a sense of accomplishment every time they complete the levels. I was also planning on having a timer that shows how long it took the player to completed all the levels and when the player dies in the room the coins that the player did not collect do not respawn.
The game that I created did indeed do most of the things that I wanted it to do which was to have a bunch of different game mechanics that make the game harder to reach the end of the level each time. I did not get the level timer to work since I could not get the the Gamemaker alarm timer to work. I also could not get the collected coins to not respawn on death. I tried a couple things but none of it seemed to do what I wanted it to do.
