Bloons TD 6 Reveiw

Bloons TD 6 is much like other tower defence games, in that whilst you choose where to place your units, you do not control them directly, placing them down on the map, having the attack from there. Where Bloons differs is in the way in which you upgrades these towers.

Bloons excels in its variety and choice, almost feeling like a sandbox game with the amount of options you have. You can place down a variety of towers (monkeys) with each having three paths with five options per path. However where Bloons shows its potential is the fact that while you can go up to the fifth tier in each path, you can only pick one per tower, having the other two paths stop at the second tier. This restriction actually allows for more creativity, making the player pick cross-
paths unique to their situation and with individual synergy.

The game has immense replay-ability, having 73 maps, with 14 game modes per map, along with regular updates and weekly events. These updates consist of new content such as towers, maps and cosmetics, as well as balance changes made with community advice in mind, leading to a fun and balanced game. The game has many events, most occurring weekly. The odyssey is a series of 3-5 games with limited tower options, the race is an event in which you can send multiple waves of enemies at once and the boss events allow you to fight a large Bloons in multiple waves. These updates, consistent in schedule and quality, allow for constant and regular enjoyment. Bloons TD 6 also offers community created content, such as maps and challenges, as well as providing active community feedback.

I believe Bloons is the pinnacle of tower defence games, with near endless replay ability, in depth gameplay, and consistently good developers, making it one of, if not, my favourite game.
