Bullet Rain is a top-down shooter where you control a tank using W A S D, and shoot with left mouse button, an ever-increasing number of slimes summoned from random points around the player.
After each wave you get an upgrade to increase the speed at which you shoot which, but not infinitely. Because of his death is inevitable as eventually the number of enemy’s will out scale the player
After playtests the biggest issues are that there is little in the way of information provided and where there is information, it conflicts with subconscious bias, for example the enemy spawn point looks like a crosshair which the play testers would instinctually shoot at instead of the slimes or think that is where the tank is aiming. The other lack of info is when the fire rate upgrade is spawned the players don’t know they’re supposed to pick it up. Unfortunate I wasn’t able to add what I wanted to in the time frame, so the game lacks a lot of replay ability, for what I could do the game is engaging.
