Wacky Wizard Fights

The task was handed to us at about Week 7 of Term 2, Rob had given us a choice to be able to polish off one of the games we had previously made before, including our client game, so, that is simply what i had decided to do, I decided to give more time and care to the Client Game that Harry Jardine had handed in, the Game’s Title was Wacky Wizard Fights.

The Original Concept of the game was a Smash Bros type of game where is a fighter game mixed in with a platformer game, in the original paper, Harry wanted two wizards (Yes, This was always a 2 player Game) to fight against each other with Fireballs and Pistols, When i first made the game, i had only managed to get the fireballs in and get a basic mechanic so then the game was fun to play, i added in the movement where players could move side to side and jump across the platform in the game, along with a attack button where players could shoot fireballs at one another, The Photo Below is how the game looked before begun to Polish it off.

Once the polishing phase set, I already had a checklist in my head, I had to update some of the movement keys, add sound design and also add in some cutscenes before you can officially start to battle against the other player, I used a program I found online called Jummbox to make my music, with that i finally got to add Sound to my game and it made it more immersive, I used all kinds of different instruments to make a track for everything, i added in a main menu so then at least there was something for the players to have a relax spot before the game begun, I then had manage to make a way for there to have working cutscenes that game a story and best of all, I made a win screen for both colours, everything in this game had its own music, the final thing i had added into the game was a I-frame and a cooldown on the fireballs, which were a recommendation from my first game testers, Nathan and Douglas, after those features were added (Thanks to Rob for helping me on that) i asked Jake and Huon to test the game, the ratings were 6/10 from Huon and a 7/10 from Jake, after which Jake and Huon tested, I added in the black for the text so then i was easier to see. Here are the photos from the polished version of the game
